Our AC was on its last legs, so we called Yard Heating and Cooling to get it fixed. Matthew Yard came over and looked at our old unit. He was able to fix it, even though we needed to replace it. He gave us six different quotes, so we could choose one that fit our budget. He also gave us some helpful brochures to read. After we decided on a system, his team came over the next Monday and installed it. They finished by the end of the day. The two guys who installed it were really nice and explained everything to us. They made sure everything was clean and looked great. Matthew was also really helpful and answered all our questions. I highly recommend Yard Heating and Cooling to anyone in their service area. 10/24/24 had an appointment to diagnose why my furnace was not coming on. Jeremy arrived on time and explained what some possible issues might be before starting. He quickly discovered a blown fuse, and had it replaced and the heat running in no time. He was very courteous and professional. This is the second time Yard's has been to my home. Our 30 year old Trane AC & furnace were nearing the end of life and had limped along for the past couple of years. We decided it was time to replace them, and after receiving quotes from several companies, Yard stood out. Not only from the quality products offered, but also their customer service. George was fantastic to work with. He answered all our questions and really crunched the numbers to get us the best units for the best price. This included Federal, Ameren, & CWLP rebates/credits which saved quite a bit. The units arrived in less than a week and the installation crew did a great job. They wore shoe coverings, left the work area spotless after completion, and thoroughly explained new thermostat/humidifier settings. John and another employee whose name I don't recall arrived on time and were very courteous and careful about not tracking in dirt or water on a very rainy day. They worked very efficiently checking connections and settings and cleaned a mess of dog hair from the previous owners off of the condenser coil.
