Our 30 year old Trane AC & furnace were nearing the end of life and had limped along for the past couple of years. We decided it was time to replace them, and after receiving quotes from several companies, Yard stood out. Not only from the quality products offered, but also their customer service. George was fantastic to work with. He answered all our questions and really crunched the numbers to get us the best units for the best price. This included Federal, Ameren, & CWLP rebates/credits which saved quite a bit. The units arrived in less than a week and the installation crew did a great job. They wore shoe coverings, left the work area spotless after completion, and thoroughly explained new thermostat/humidifier settings. Our AC was on its last legs, so we called Yard Heating and Cooling to get it fixed. Matthew Yard came over and looked at our old unit. He was able to fix it, even though we needed to replace it. He gave us six different quotes, so we could choose one that fit our budget. He also gave us some helpful brochures to read. After we decided on a system, his team came over the next Monday and installed it. They finished by the end of the day. The two guys who installed it were really nice and explained everything to us. Matt and his crew were so nice and quick to respond. I called them because we were having issues with our unit in the attic and within 3 days we had a new unit installed and running. It was one of the hottest weeks of the year and they made sure we stayed cooled and even loaned us air units for the 2 days we were without air. I highly recommend Yard Heating & Cooling. It has only been four days since the installation of my garage min-split system, so I can only comment on the consultation and installation. George was very thorough on the consult. He came out and measured my garage area, looked at the outdoor placement options and the breaker box. He gave me a quote within a day or two. I immediately trusted him (rare for me). I waited several weeks before ordering as I had matters to clean up (the garage itself and financially). When I ordered and gave the ok, his team was out 2 days later to install. It only took them 3.5 hour or so, and was done very professionally with no mess to clean up. As I type this in my garage, it is 71 degrees in here and 42 outdoors! I seem to be done buying and hauling propane tanks in frigid weather. Very Satisfied! Read Less
